My 3-Week Detox Program

Today is Monday, May 28th, the first day of my three-week detox program. For the next 21 days I'll be consuning only protein shakes, cleansing supplements, certain types of fruits and vegetables, and lots and lots of pure water. I'm in the fifth hour of the first day of the cleanse and so far, I feel great (ha, ha, just wait).

I'm also going to wear detox foot pads every night because that will really help. Usually I wear them only a few times a month, and I haven't worn them daily for some time, but they will make an excellent addition to this cleansing program.

My goals for this cleanse are:

-clean out physical, emotional, and mental garbage
-lose some weight in time for bathing suit season :-)
-clean out my office, my dressers, my closets, and my house in general!
-feel stronger, lighter and more clear

I'm also keeping a journal to help the mental detox juices flowing. I find that writing out all my "stuff" really helps me see things in a different way and actually come to some resolution about problems and issues that I'm dealing with.

I'll add to this blog whenever I have something useful or informative to say about the cleanse. I haven't done this one before, and I've definitely never done a cleanse for three whole weeks. It should be interesting and I expect it will be very rewarding as well. Please feel free to comment. Keep ya posted!
